Injection lipolysis

A biological substance Phosphatidylcholine (soja bean component) is injected to "melt" fat deposits in the problem zones. The dissolved fat droplets are then metabolised in the liver and excreted out of the body within a period of 4 weeks. Thus it is a permanent process and comparable to liposuction on a smaller scale. Injection lipolysis has been used world wide for 10 years successfully in contouring facial features and the body. This is a minimal invasive method and extremely well tolerated.

Following problems can be targeted:

  • Double chin
  • Hamster cheeks
  • Cellulite removal/treatment on the upper thighs

Problem zones listed below are difficult to be treated using injections lipolysis:

  • Fat depots/deposits around the waist
  • Upper and lower abdomen
  • Upper thighs (inner and outer)
  • Upper arms
  • Knee
  • Hips
  • Fat deposits on shoulder and joints
2-3 treatments wihin a period of 6-8 weeks are usually enough to get a good cosmetic result.

The treatment is an outpatient procedure, the only side effect being slight pain comparable to a catch after exercising and gradually disappears after a few days.
